Where we come from

Who we are

The LFO, formerly the Chair of Factory Organization, is the founding chair and thus the oldest chair in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The LFO consistently continues the more than 40 years of work of the Chair of Factory Organization and expands it to include aspects of comprehensive supply chain management. In teaching, the LFO is significantly involved in the training of students in the Bachelor's and Master's degree courses in Logistics, Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering at TU Dortmund University.
