Your way to us:

Do you have an idea of your own?
We particularly welcome students who bring their own questions and ideas to the table. Whether innovative approaches to topics such as logistics, supply chain management, digitalization or sustainability - we are looking forward to your input.

Your exposé:
To make your idea tangible, send us a short exposé (3-4 pages). You can find a template here. Please make sure that your synopsis includes the following points:

• Topic and research question: What topic do you want to work on and what scientific or practice-relevant question do you want to answer?
• Objective: What do you want to achieve with your work?
• Methodology: What approach do you have in mind?
• Relevance: Why is your topic important - both scientifically and practically?
• Cooperation with a company? Are you planning to work on your thesis together with a company? How does the topic fit in with the company and the chair?

Application process:

Please submit the necessary documents to us together with the synopsis. How, where, what - you can find out here. We will then check whether your topic fits in with our research priorities. We have described the exact procedure here.

Confirmation of supervision:
If we reach a joint decision, you will be assigned a permanent supervisor from our scientific team who will support and guide you throughout your work.
