SealedServices at the maintenance trade fair in Dortmund 2022

Successful presentation of the SealedServices demonstrator at the Maintenance Fair in Dortmund. At this must-attend event for the industry, the Sealed Services team was able to impress with two exhibition stands.
After a two-year break, the Maintenance trade fair in Dortmund took place again this year. The leading trade fair for industrial maintenance offers an excellent opportunity to present and learn about new innovations and to network with other people from the industry. Together with the LFO, Fraunhofer IML, OrgaTech Solution Engineering and other members of the consortium, the future visions of the project were presented at two stands. SealedServices project staff were on hand to answer visitors' questions about blockchain, services and platforms. The SealedServices platform demonstrator was also completed in time for the start of the trade fair. The team was thus able to successfully present the demonstrator for internet-based services to interested visitors on both days of the trade fair.
Focus on smart maintenance
The SealedServices team was also able to draw attention to itself in the lecture program at the trade fair's Science Center. The organizers had gone to great lengths to create an exciting supporting program with interesting presentations on current topics such as sustainability and digitalization. In a presentation by Bernhard Kurpicz from Orgatech SEC GmbH, the biggest hurdles in the maintenance and service business were explained, clearly highlighting the need for better networking.
Overall, the maintenance trade fair in Dortmund was not only a complete success and a successful new start for the organizers, but also a very good opportunity to draw attention to the SealedServices project. The trade fair also provided a good opportunity for the team and project participants to meet in person again after a long time. The team would like to thank the organizers, project partners and all those interested in the project for two very successful days at the trade fair.
