Publication of the IO2 white paper in the PERSIST project

The white paper IO2 "Qualitative Pre-Study by conducting World Café Sessions and Expert Interviews as a Starting Point for the Delphi Studies" by PERSIST describes the implementation and results of three online World Café workshops and several expert interviews. Purchasing experts from Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, Estonia, the UK and Slovakia took part in the surveys.
In the World Cafés, the topics of roles in procurement, strategic competencies in procurement and operational competencies in procurement were discussed at three virtual tables. The focus was always on the characteristics in a digitalized Industry 4.0 environment. At the end of each World Café, the roles and competencies identified were evaluated by the participants in terms of their impact. All results are described in detail in the white paper.
In the next work package (IO3) of the PERSIST project, the knowledge gained in IO2 will be deepened in a Delphi study and again discussed and expanded with experts. On this basis, a gamified MOOC will be developed in the further course of the project, consisting of modular learning units that support the development of the previously highlighted roles and competencies and integrate gamification elements.
